BUSSENSCHUT (GUNNER)
Rapenburgerstraat 153
Amsterdam

Ships of the Dutch East Indian Company had cannons on board.
For that reason arms dealers settled down near the harbours.
The gunner on the right is causing an explosion by holding a special stick with a flame
near a hole in the cannon that contains gunpowder, with the result that the bullet is fired.
